Penelope and the Promise Pets Party!

Scout is so excited for his first birthday! He would love a Playful Pet Party in the backyard featuring plenty of places to dig and mud to roll around in, along with games of fetch and tug of war! The only problem is that his fellow Promise Pet Callie may not be very interested in such roughhousing, as she would rather spend the afternoon in a much more relaxed setting. He can agree with Callie on a few things – they both like to play with their own toys, eat their own favorite snacks and cuddle up with their beloved owner, Penelope!

Callie would love a Pampered Pet Party since she absolutely loves napping on comfy pillows, playing with strings and munching on fishy flavored snacks! Scout would find Callie’s ideal afternoon as a bore, as he would rather be kicking up mud and finding somewhere to bury his favorite bones. Callie on the other hand, while fascinated with the outdoors and birdwatching would much rather watch from her safe place in the window. She can agree with Scout on a few things, however. They both like their favorite snacks, their own toys and most importantly, cuddling up with Penelope!
